Sustainability through raw materials and production process:
The usage of recycled yarns in the manufacturing of fabrics minimises the need for the production of new ones, which in turn reduces waste and contributes to environmental protection. In addition, it reduces the amounts of energy and water required for their production, as well as carbon dioxide emissions.
Crafting product packages out of pieces that cannot be used on clothes.
All necessary product information is listed on the garment and no paper or fabric is used for
labels.
By producing locally, we avoid the emission of pollutants due to transport.
Social Responsibility:
With the production chain in such close proximity, we ensure that the production process is completely transparent and that our employees are remunerated on the basis of EU guidelines. In addition, we support the local microeconomy.
Product durability:
As a result, the frequency of substitutions is minimised, which in turn reduces waste and saves resources. As the difficulties in the utilisation of used clothes have not yet been resolved, durable materials contribute significantly to the viability of our project.
Transparency in the production chain:
This includes a fair and secure working environment, minimising our environmental footprint and avoiding the use of harmful chemicals. It allows for the consumer to be informed on a variety of options, so that they ensure their alignment with their beliefs and values. Transparency also contributes to our endeavour for a “greener” production process, since those involved in such a process are subject to audits by authorities and accredited bodies.
